Royal Mail - Tracking

Royal Mail provides Intersoft with tracking for below services only:

  • Tracked Domestic 
  • Special Delivery Guaranteed 
  • International Tracked
  • International Tracked and Signed
  • International Signed

Royal Mail does not provide us tracking for any untracked services. 

Delivery Scan is offered for some of these services when scanned as delivered at the doorstep, for example BPR or CRL services. This would be visible only on Royal Mail’s website, and not shared with Intersoft.
The postman should scan the 2D barcode on these items at the doorstep upon delivery – but sometimes these are not scanned / can’t be scanned etc which results in no tracking for the item.
Adding the “Recorded signed for” enhancement option means that this needs to be signed for upon delivery, and the proof of signature would appear on the Royal Mail Track & Trace website.
