Royal Mail - QR Code / Label to Go

QR Code / Label to Go is a paperless return service.


To have the QR code generated for returns shipments using the Royal Mail Tracked Returns 24 or Tracked Returns 48:

  1. Firstly the shipments needs to be created using createShipment request to get the Tracking Number. 
  2. Then the printQRCode service needs to be used to get the Base 64 encoded QR Code image.


The end consumer can then take this QR code to the post office, either printed or on a mobile device, and scan it to generate returns label.

Below is the example of the label generated at the post office after scanning the QR code. It contains the Customer Reference to help the customer identify what order it is related to.
