Parcelforce - Customer Onboarding Steps

Great to hear that you would like to use Parcelforce through Intersoft. This article covers everything you need to start the integration.

  • Services and Service Enhancements – a list of all of the carrier’s services and service enhancements available through Intersoft.
  • Useful Information – details on field requirements, available features etc.
  • Onboarding Form – once you are ready to progress, please share a completed form with the Onboarding Team. We will need a separate one for each of the accounts you hold with the carrier and intend to use.

ONBOARDING STEPS
STEP 1 – Customer must hold an existing account with Parcelforce and contact their account manager to sign up for the ExpressLink integration. Carrier to send Customer credentials.

STEP 2 – Please fill the Onboarding Form and share it with the Onboarding Team at onboarding@intersoft.co.uk.

STEP 3 - Test the integration and work on development using your Sandbox account.

STEP 4
- If tracking is required:
- Customer to complete Data Exchange Agreement form received from Parcelforce, providing them with a Public key received from Intersoft
- Once completed and shared with Parcelforce, Customer to let Intersoft know - it may then take few working days for the tracking connection to be set up. 

STEP 5 – Intersoft will then set up the integration.
This may take several working days as An Post's assistance is required in linking everything up correctly. 

STEP 6 – Once everything is set up Customer to create a set of test labels for the services they intended to use and share them with Intersoft together with the manifest.
There is no sign off required by Parcelfroce, but Intersoft may decide to share the labels with the carrier anyways (for example if Customer is setting up this integration for the first time).

STEP 6 - Once signed off - ready to ship!
