DHL Express dangerous goods enhancements
Customers can now select the the following dangerous goods classifications when creating DHL Express Class 9 hazardous shipments.
- DangerousGoodsID8000 - Consumer Commodities
- Dangerous Goods Excepted Quantities
The selected classification determines the correct shipment information sent to DHL Express, helping ensure accurate processing and compliance.
These options are available through the existing Intelligent Shipper Service Enhancements and Enhancement Translations configuration screens.
Important
Please note that for Class 9 hazardous shipments, either DangerousGoodsID8000 or DangerousGoodsExceptedQuantities must be selected. If no dangerous goods classification is specified, the shipment will fail validation and cannot be processed.
