Intelligent Shipper Release Notes (Please refer to your deployment notification for Release Notes Dates).
As part of our ongoing commitment to align with regulatory changes, we have prepared several new features designed to comply with the upcoming Windsor Framework. However, following the latest announcement from the UK government regarding the delay in the implementation of the Windsor Framework, these features will remain disabled until 31st March 2025.
For more information please see Government guidance (Sending parcels to and from Northern Ireland).
Royal Mail Combined Label and CN22 Added for Low-Value Shipments
Following the recent release of this feature, the new Royal Mail label type has now been enabled for the Combined Label and CN22. This combined label format will apply exclusively to cross-border and importer services. It is intended for low-value shipments, with a total value of 135 GBP or less. The label is formatted as a 6x4 label, with the top half displaying a 3x4 tracked domestic label and the bottom half featuring the CN22 customs form.
For customers using eligible services, IShipper will automatically convert the shipment value to GBP if the original value is in a different currency. This ensures an accurate assessment of the shipment value and determines whether the combined label and CN22 form should be used. This update enhances the shipping process by eliminating the need for manual currency conversion, creating a smoother, more efficient experience.
