Royal Mail Commercial Invoice Layout

The design of the Royal Mail Commercial Invoice layout in Intelligent Shipper is updated to comply with international shipment regulations, featuring enhanced consistency in fonts, padding, and margins. Key changes include renaming fields, adding new fields for PreRegistration Type and Shipper Reference, and including VAT and EORI numbers in the Consignee section. Additionally, adjustments are made to email font sizes and line breaks for improved readability.

Royal Mail Shipment Validation to Channel Islands

The following updates have been made to the Royal Mail shipment validation to Channel Islands:

• Guernsey shipment validation. Royal Mail shipments from Great Britain to Guernsey are now treated as international dutiable. When the destination postcode begins with GY and the country code is GB or GG, a CN23 customs declaration form will be automatically generated. To ensure compliance, customers will also be required to provide detailed item information, including the HS code and country of origin.

• 1D Barcode for Royal Mail Domestic Services to Guernsey. Royal Mail shipments from GB to Guernsey using the following unsigned services will now include a 1D barcode on the labels:

• Royal Mail Pre-advice file enhancements for Guernsey. The Royal Mail pre-advice file for shipments from GB to Guernsey now contains a mandatory 1D tracking number to ensure shipments are processed like international ones. Additionally, if the sender provides a receiver email address, it will be sent to Royal Mail in the Pre-advice file.

 Royal Mail Domestic Label Templates

All Royal Mail’s domestic label templates have been updated to include the King’s crown in the Royal Mail cruciform logo. This enhancement ensures that customers can generate labels that meet the latest Royal Mail standards, keeping the Intelligent Shipper system compliant with ongoing updates to the bespoke shipping solution.

Royal Mail International Label Templates

The Royal Mail international label templates have been updated to include the recipient contact number to conform with the overseas delivery partners and customs authorities.

The Delivery Group Services

The following new services have been added to The Delivery Group (TDG) integration in Intelligent Shipper:

DHL eCommerce Integration Updates

The following enhancements have been made to the DHL eCommerce integration:

• Rebranding of DHL Parcel UK. The name and logo for "DHL Parcel UK" on the Intelligent Shipper’s Integrations and Agent pages has been updated to reflect the new branding as "DHL eCommerce UK." This change aims to achieve consistency across the platform in accordance with DHL's latest brand guidelines following their recent rebranding of the UK Parcel service.

• Updated label format for DHL eCommerce UK. As part of the transition from the previous "DHL Parcel UK" branding, the label format for DHL eCommerce UK has been updated to align with the current specifications, ensuring that customers can successfully create shipments with the newly defined label format.

• DHL eCommerce UK manifest updates. The Domestic Record of the DHL eCommerce UK manifest file has been updated to conform with its latest rebranding and specifications. This is done so that the correct shipment data is passed on to the carrier for further processing.
