Intelligent Shipper Release Notes - February 2026
Intelligent Shipper Release Notes (Please refer to your deployment notification for Release Notes Dates)
DPD Netherlands Integration Updates
The DPD Netherlands integration has been updated to remove the service ‘B2C DPD Home’, as this is no longer supported by the carrier. All the other existing services continue to be available in the integration.
Royal Mail Windsor Framework Updates
The following changes have been made for Royal Mail shipments sent from Great Britain to Northern Ireland (addresses with a GB country code and postcode beginning BT):
- The shipment declaredValue must equal the sum of the item values within the shipment. The declaredValue cannot be less than or greater than the sum of the item values.
- For B2B shipments where a pre-registration number with pre-registration type UKIMS is provided, previous logic that treated Item HS Code as optional has been removed. Royal Mail's standard reference data will now be used, which validates Item HS Code as mandatory for B2B shipments from GB to NI with a UKIMS number. The table below lists the fields that are mandatory for all B2B shipments from GB to NI, this is in addition to the standard mandatory fields in the Intelligent Shipper create shipment request from the 24th February 2024. Any shipments missing the required information will fail validation, so we recommend reviewing your data ahead of this date.

For full details, please see the Royal Mail validation rules.
DHL Express Dangerous Goods Update
The DHL Express integration has been updated so that class 9 dangerous goods will now be classified as Excepted Quantities. The DHL label generated for these shipments will contain the text “Dangerous Goods in Excepted Quantities” as shown in the example below:
