DPD Local - Customer Onboarding Steps

Great to hear that you would like to use DDP Local through Intersoft. This article covers everything you need to start the integration.

  • Services – a list of all of the carrier’s services and service enhancements available through Intersoft.
  • Onboarding Form – once you are ready to progress, please share a completed form with the Onboarding Team. We will need a separate one for each of the accounts you hold with the carrier and intend to use.
  • Useful Information - additional information related to the carrier - field requirement, service enhancements etc. 

ONBOARDING STEPS
STEP 1 – The customer will first need to have an active account with DPD Local and be registered with the EDI Solution.

STEP 2 – Customer to fill the Onboarding Form and share it with the Onboarding Team at onboarding@intersoft.co.uk.

STEP 3 – Intersoft will then set up the integration on both - Sandbox and liaise with the carrier to set it up in Production as well.
The Sandbox account can be used by the customer for any testing whilst working on the development. 

STEP 4 – Once the Production account is set up - customer to proceed with the sign off required by DPD Local:

  • Customer to create production labels for each service they intend to use, manifest them and share them with Intersoft. 
  • Intersoft will then forward them to the carrier for review and sign off.

Please note: DPD Local may also require the physical label sign off. The details on this will be shared once the soft label sign off is completed.

STEP 5 – Once labels and data verified and signed off by the carrier - READY TO SHIP!
