DHL DE - Internal Notes

DHL DE has confirmed that Intersoft branded CN23s are not compliant with shipping outside of the EU. Which means when customers who choose to print Intersoft's CN23 label may experience severe delays or have their shipments returned.
Every customer that wishes to ship internationally to a non-EU destinations using DHL DE integration needs to be able to print the CN23 as A4. The CN23 must be requested via printDocument API call.
The CN23 label format provided from DHL-DE will be A4 only. Please click here for an example.

Most Common Errors and Solutions

  • Error message: “1001 login failed” when trying to create a label.

    Response from DHL DE: “the error message "LOGIN FAILED - 1001" means that the access data to the business customer portal is not recognized by the server.
    After three months, the password of the business customer portal user usually expires. By resetting the password, this error can be resolved.
    To prevent the password from expiring after three months, you have the option to specify a so-called system user in the Business Customer Portal. The system user has the advantage that the password must be renewed every 365 days.
